Fred, a 1-year-old male Shih Tzu mix, has had his first puppy vaccinations and is very friendly. He would like to thank “Strut Your Mutt” for his new fall “do,” according to an Allegany County Animal Shelter spokeswoman. The shelter is located at 716 Furnace St., Cumberland. Adoption hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The shelter’s Web site is www.petfinder.org/shelters/MD203.     Cupid, a black and white short hair 4-year-old neutered male, is shy but affectionate, current on vaccinations and microschipped, according to officials at the Allegany County Animal Shelter.     Treasure, a 3-year-old female short hair black tabby, is independent and playful, according to officials at the Allegany County Animal Shelter. The cat is current on vaccinations and has been spayed and microchipped.

    Gomer, a 5-month-old, tri-color, male hound/shepherd mix, is outgoing and talkative and would do well in an active home, according to officials at the Allegany County Animal Shelter.
  •  Adopt-A-Pet: "Ebony" & "Prince"
    Ebony, a 5-month-old black/white short hair spayed female and Prince, a 5-month-old neutered black/white male, are both current on vaccinations and microchipped.
