Mario, a 5-month-old male black/brown collie/shepherd, is quiet and playful, according to officials at the Allegany County Animal Shelter.

The shelter is located at 716 Furnace St. in Cumberland. Adoption hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon.
