Adopt-A-Pet: 'Smiley'

Smiley, an 8-year-old Keeshond male, is a friendly senior that loves attention and would make a great addition to any home, according to officials at the Allegany County Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 716 Furnace St., Cumberland. Adoption hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Shelter officials said the first 16 adoptions in June will receive a $100 certificate toward spay/neuter at any Allegany County veterinarian’s office.
