Adopt-A-Pet: 'Perla'

Perla, a 3-month-old, female, short hair calico, is affectionate and playful and would do well in any home environment, according to officials at the Allegany County Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 716 Furnace St., Cumberland. Adoption hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The shelter’s Web site is www.petfinder.org/shelters/MD203. The shelter will be closed Friday through Monday in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
