Adopt-A-Pet: Tadpole

Tadpole, a 4-month-old male black and white, neutered short-haired kitten, is energetic, current on vaccinations and microchipped, according to officials at the Allegany County Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 716 Furnace St., Cumberland. Adoption hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.



Allegany County Animal Shelter reports the following animals were found:

• A male 3-year-old gray medium-hair cat on Grand Avenue, Cumberland. Claim by Saturday.

• A male 2-year-old orange and white tabby short-hair cat on Old Hollow Road, Corriganville. Owner must claim by Thursday.

• A female 4-year-old gray and white tabby medium-hair cat with green and white flea collar on Old Hollow Road, Corriganville. Owner must claim by Thursday.

• A female 2-year-old orange and white tabby short hair on Old Hollow Road, Corriganville. Owner must claim by Thursday.

Pet owners are reminded to have their dogs and cats spayed or neutered to reduce the number of unwanted animals that have to be euthanized because no one will give them a home.
