Hunters celebrate anniversary

LAVALE — Jack and Dorothy (Bone) Hunter of LaVale celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sept. 18, 2009. They will celebrate with a family dinner hosted by their children at Candlewyck Inn, Keyser,W.Va.

The couple was married on Sept. 18, 1959, at the First Baptist Church, Cumberland.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hunter have two daughters, Tonya Heavener of LaVale and Laura Adamsky of Decatur, Ala. Their grandchildren are Wayne, Brittany, Rachael, Savina and Anthony. Their sons-in-law are Jeff Heavener and Franklin Adamsky.

Mr. Hunter is the son of the late C. Walter and Geneva Hunter. He retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company and the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department .

Mrs. Hunter is the daughter of the late David and Pearl Bone. She retired from the Allegany Board of Education.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Hunter are members of Park Place United Methodist Church.
