MCHENRY — Harry and Sue Bowers were honored Dec. 12. 2012, on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were entertained with a lovely evening at Dutch’s Kitchen, Deep Creek Lake, by their daughters, Pamela Sue Braskey and husband, John, and Kimberly Jaye Kamp. Also attending were their grandson, Ryan Folk, and great-grandson, Cole Robert Folk; Ryan’s friend Shannon and her children,. Cassidy and Connor; granddaughter Dana Jo Reinhardt and husband Jeff; great-grandson John Andrew Reinhardt; and Peggy Robertson, Sue’s sister. Unable to attend were granddaughter Tara Jaye Chapman, who lives in Owings Mills, and husband Eric and their children, Blake Olivia and Grace Madeline Chapman.
Sue and Harry were married Dec. 6, 1952, at Grantsville Lutheran Church. Harry retired from ABL in 1994 and Sue retired from Dr. C.Y. Hadidian’s office in 1984.
They have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Our sincere thanks to our family for making this a very special time in our lives. Also, know that the Lord has been very good to us and that his countless blessings have been with us throughout all the years.
