Livengoods honored on 60th anniversary

Cumberland — CUMBERLAND — The family of Doris L. (White) and Russell L. Livengood Jr. recently held a 60th wedding anniversary celebration in their honor. Floral arrangements of white flowers and red roses adorned the tables. The cake was a white two tier cake decorated with fresh red rose pedals.

Doris and Russell were married on Jan. 28, 1950, by the Rev. Scribner. The couple was married in Cumberland, with the late Franklin Hinze and Elva Mae (Nesbitt) Hinze serving as attendants.

Shortly after their marriage, Russell served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War.
