Gary and Janet Smith Crabtree celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 17, 2012. Formerly from Cumberland and Waldorf, Md., they now live in Murrells Inlet, where they are enjoying the good life after retiring from Giant Food of Maryland.

Knippenbergs celebrate anniversary
Denny and Pat (Blacklin) Knippenberg of Cumberland recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with family, friends and plenty of laughter in Las Vegas, Nev. The couple was treated to a celebration dinner at the famous Golden Steer Steak House near the Las Vegas “Strip.” Travis Allen, noted Las Vegas Elvis impersonator, made a surprise appearance at dinner to sing a few of Denny’s and Pat’s favorite songs, including their wedding song, “I Want You, I Need You, I Love You.”
