Penn State’s Sandusky settlements reach $60M

Former Penn State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky arrives at the Centre County Courthouse for a post-sentence motion in Bellefonte, Pa. Penn State trustee Ted Brown told The Associated Press on Thursday, July 18, 2013 that the tentative settlements reached by the university so far with men who claim to have been sexually abused by former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky total about $60 million. He was unsure of how many claims have been settled and how many remain in negotiations.
