Cindy Robinette [Chattanooga]

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Cindy L. Robinette, 45, of Chattanooga, went to Heaven March 18, 2008, after a long illness.

Born in Maryland on March 30, 1962, she made Tennessee her home.

As a nurse with a Master's degree in Health Service Administration, Cindy had a passion for helping others and was dedicated to her nursing students, family and friends. Cindy was a member of the Ridgedale Baptist Church in Tennessee. She was a member of TONE (Tennessee Organization of Nursing Executors) and NAHCR (National Association of Health Care Recruiters). Cindy spent five years in Arkansas as a women's dean at the Adventist Academy. In addition to her nursing degree, Cindy had a Bachelor's degree in Management.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thelma and John Davies, and grandfather, Dobbie Robinette.

Survivors include her loving parents, Judie and Gary Robinette; grandmother, Helena "Nanny" Robinette; a sister, Robin Rankin and husband Dwayne, all of Grantsville; nieces, Charity Georg and husband John, Grantsville; Meranda Bittinger, Chattanooga and Kristian Bittinger, Cumberland; great-niece, Brianna Bittinger; great-nephews, Alex and Austin Bittinger, Grantsville; and her faithful pug, Sweetpea.

A memorial service will be conducted at Little Meadows Baptist Church Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 3 p.m. with internment at the family cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Meadows Charitable Trust at littlemeadowslake.com or to the American Heart Association.

Cindy and her beautiful smile will be sadly missed.
