Judith A. Piper [Oldtown]

OLDTOWN — Judith Ann Piper, 63, of Oldtown, passed away Thursday, Dec. 04, 2008 at WMHS-Memorial Campus.

Born Dec. 12, 1944 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late James Raymond and Nellie Frances (Vance) Piper.

Ms. Piper retired from the National Nabisco Company in Williamsport after 38 years of service. She was a member of the Cumberland Seventh Day Adventist Church where she helped with the Food Bank. She loved to sew and make dresses.

Surviving are one brother, Roger D. Piper Sr. and fiancée Kathy Nichols, Oldtown; one nephew, Roger Dale Piper Jr., Cumberland; one niece, Lisa Marie Twigg, Cumberland; one great-niece; five great-nephews; very special friends, Doris Liller, Oldtown, Kate Forebeck and children, Oldtown and Shirley Bartlett, Oldtown; and her loving companion, her dog, Max.

At her request her body will be cremated. There will be no visitation or funeral services.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, is assisting the family.
