Log home in Romney ‘a total loss’ after fire

The charred remains of a log home near Romney, W.Va., are pictured here Tuesday. According to Romney Fire Chief G.T. Parsons, the estimated loss to the building and its contents is valued at about $350,000. Five Hampshire County volunteer fire departments responded to the scene on Tuesday morning. Names of the owner and occupants were not provided to the Times-News.
