America’s Cup planning endures rough waters

In this Thursday, May 9, 2013 photo, the Artemis Racing AC72 catamaran, an America's Cup entry from Sweden, lies capsized after turning over during training in San Francisco Bay in San Francisco, Calif. Questions are being raised about the safety of the $10 million high-tech boats that can obtain speeds of 45 mph and how the death of British sailor Andrew Simpson's death will affect his team and the America's Cup itself. Simpson died Thursday when he became trapped underneath the vessel after it capsized.
