Thirty-three volunteer firefighters responded to a house fire on Warrior Drive in New Creek, W.Va., at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The house was a total loss and the fire is still under investigation by the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office, according to Chris Biggs, New Creek Volunteer Fire Department’s assistant chief. Also responding were volunteer firefighters from Keyser, Fountain, Burlington, Tri-Towns and Potomac, as well as New Creek and Keyser EMS, Mineral County Sheriff’s Department and West Virginia State Police.
