KEYSER, W.Va. — Diane Dayton’s two goals sandwiched Crystal Moreland’s two goals as Frankfort shut out Keyser Tuesday in girls high school soccer play at Keyser.
Dayton’s first goal came at 20:00 of the first half, and her second goal came at 11:00 of the second half. In between, Moreland scored at 11:00 of the first half, and then at 25:00 of the second half. All four goals were unassisted, and Frankfort led 2-0 at the half.
Frankfort outshot Keyser, 25-13, and held a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
Lexi Conley had eight saves in goal for Frankfort. Kayla Broadwater had 17 saves for Keyser.
Frankfort (7-3) will host Northern Thursday. Keyser (2-6) will visit Mountain Ridge on Monday.
