— CRESAPTOWN — Aaron Rodeheaver answered the bell with a two-hit, 4-0 shutout of Bedford Thomas Chevrolet for Lakeview Auto Parts in game one of the Hot Stove League Championship Series at Memorial Field on Monday evening.

Rodeheaver struck out 10 and walked four.

Tyler McClintock’s RBI double in the first inning is all Rodeheaver would need. McClintock drove in two runs in all. Logan Yommer tripled and singled.

Matt Kline singled and Robert Hernandez had an infield single in the seventh to account for all of Bedford’s hitting.

Hernandez was a tough-luck loser on the mound, throwing all seven innings, allowing four runs on just three hits while fanning seven.

Lakeview Auto Parts improve to a stellar 24-1 overall record while Bedford Thomas Chevrolet falls to 21-4-1. Game two of this best-of-three series resumes Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Memorial Field.
