Laffey, Brewers agree to minor league deal

— MILWAUKEE  — A week after opting out of a contract with the Dodgers, Allegany High School graduate Aaron Laffey has signed to play for the Milwaukee Brewers’ Triple-A affiliate.

Laffey posted a 5.61 ERA over 61 innings for the Dodgers’ Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes, and has allowed 10 runs in 12 2/3 innings at the MLB level this season between the Mets and the Blue Jays.

The 28-year old left-handed pitcher has a career ERA of 4.45 in 487 innings with the Indians, Mariners, Yankees, Blue Jays and Mets.

Laffey will report to the Nashville Sound.
