Carr’s HR helps Lakeview win, 12-2

— POTOMAC PARK — Hunter Hill and Logan Yommer combined on a three-hitter and Brooks Carr belted a three-run home run to lead Lakeview Auto Parts over Keyser VFW 12-2 on Saturday afternoon at Hamilton Field.

Lakeview finished the regular season 17-1 and begins Hot Stove League playoff action this evening as the top seed and will play Grantsville S.A.L., 5:30 p.m., at Northern High School.

Carr gave Lakeview a 5-0 lead with his second inning home run. Yommer, who relieved Hill after the fourth inning, had two hits including a double with two RBIs. Calyb King drove in three runs with a double and a single and catcher Aaron Rodeheaver had a two-run base hit in the fifth inning.

Vinnie Cuthbertson, Camden White and C.J. Landis all had base hits for Keyser.
