Mowry, Lohr lead Hobo’s 10-0 win

— HYNDMAN, Pa. — Cody Lohr and Ryan Mowry were a combined 6 for 6 with five runs scored and three runs batted in to support the two-hit pitching of Chaz Fatula as Hobo’s Restaurant blanked Frostburg 1st United, 10-0, in Hot Stove League action Friday evening.

Lohr went 3 for 3 with two doubles and a single, scored two runs and knocked in two more, while Mowry was 3 for 3 with three singles, three runs and an RBI.

Tristan Graeff doubled, singled, scored twice and knocked in a run, and Elijah Stair had two singles, two runs scored and an RBI for Hobo’s, which led 9-0 after two innings and finished with 12 hits.

Fatula dominated on the mound, allowing two singles, walking two and striking out 13 in six innings.

Hobo’s (12-6) plays Frostburg Legion on Tuesday at Hamilton Field.

ACCIDENT — Lakeview Auto Parts scored three runs in the fourth inning to come from behind to defeat Taylor Mining at Northern High School.

Clark Morin drove in two runs, and winning pitcher Calyb King, Bryce Jones and Logan McClintock all had RBIs as Lakeview improved to 15-2.

Devin Smith, Evan Shockey and C. Shockey had two hits with Evan Shockey driving in two runs. C. Shockey and A. Brantner both had RBIs. Smith and Evan Shockey each doubled for one of their two hits.

Lakeview Auto Parts plays Cork’s Cars at Oakland’s Broadford Park on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Taylor Mining (9-8-1) plays Madigan’s Auto Sales on Monday at Broadford Park at 7 p.m.

POTOMAC PARK — Caleb Sivic doubled, singled twice and drove in four runs as KMK Insurance/Outdoor Power overcame an early 4-0 deficit to beat Chaney-Buskirk Insurance at Holler Field.

Cam Bohrer stroked three singles and Ryan Miller had a single and an RBI for KMK/Outdoor Power, which erased the early deficit with a seven-run third inning.

Tyler Eirich, Sivic and Bohrer teamed for a four-hitter and eight strikeouts.

Devin Gillespie doubled and singled for Chaney-Buskirk.

KMK (6-12) plays Twigg’s Plumbing & Heating on Monday at Holler Field.

POTOMAC PARK — Broc Lohr tripled and scored three runs and Lucas Root and Dakota Hinebaugh had two singles and two RBIs to power Cork’s Cars past the Fort Ashby Lions.

Ian DeWitt tossed a six-inning, three-hit shutout for the win, allowing only three singles.

C.J. Davis doubled and knocked in a pair of runs for Cork’s (14-2-1), which will play Lakeview Auto Parts in a Garrett County battle on Tuesday, at 7 p.m., at Broadford Park.

OAKLAND — Dakota Hinebaugh doubled and knocked in two runs and Beclan Horner added an RBI single as Cork’s Cars edged Keyser VFW at Broadford Park.

Broc Lohr scattered six hits and struck out 10 in a complete-game win for Cork’s. Cam White had two singles for the Vets.
