Allegany rolls over Dundalk

Trojans visit Garrett tonight

BALTIMORE — Three players had double-doubles and five scored in double figures to lead Allegany College of Maryland over Dundalk 94-75 Monday evening at Dundalk.

David Jones, Ricky Mosley and Davon Williams each had double-doubles as Jones led the Trojans with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Mosley had 21 points and 10 boards while Williams led the team with 12 rebounds and scored 13 points.

Richard Mann finished with 19 points — 15 coming off of five threes — and Larry Terry added 10. Mann had six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Mosley had seven assists, Jones four assists and two steals, and Williams had two assists and a steal.

Allegany scored 50 points in the first half.

“I was happy with the first 20 minutes,” said Trojans head coach Mike Baker. “We held them to 23 points but then we relaxed in the second half. We still need to put together two 20-minute halves.”

Dundalk’s Devin Colston scored a game-high 28 points and Kamani Jordan had 24. Colston and Rowland Halley, who had 14 points, each had four three-pointers out of Dundalk’s 10.

The Trojans, who have won four of their last five games, visit Garrett College tonight beginning at 7 p.m.

Dundalk drops to 9-15.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — Potomac State withstood a 48-31 run by Penn Highlands as a 20-point halftime lead nearly vanished, yet still managed to pull it off with a three-point victory Monday night in a Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference game at Penn Highlands.

Reggie Baker led the Catamounts with 25 points, while George Chase scored 23. Carlton Drake scored 11, while Peyton Hartman hit for nine.

Penn Highlands was led by Jermaine Graves with 25 points, Jordan Sawyer with 18, while Rashad Kelly and Josh Corbett both hit 15.

Potomac State (11-6, 5-1 WPCC) will play today at Butler.
