Wormack works Alco to 27-point win

— HYNDMAN, Pa. — Micah Wormack scored 19 points to lead fifth-ranked Allegany to a 64-37 win at Hope for Hyndman Charter School in high school girls basketball Monday evening.

Wormack made nine shots from the field and her only foul shot in leading all scorers for the Campers (6-8), who outscored the Hornets 17-5 in third quarter to move a 12-point halftime lead to 45-21. Wormack also had four steals.

Kailee Selders made two three-point goals and had 10 points to go with four assists and three steals, Breanua Fagan added nine points and eight rebounds and Rachel Wormack and Jordan Hare had eight eight for Allegany.

Kynda Dawson led Hyndman with 13 points and Sara Leydig had eight.

Allegany plays at Fort Hill on Wednesday and can win the City championship outright with a win. Hyndman visits Bishop Walsh on Friday.
