— MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Calvary Christian Academy went on the road Tuesday evening and upset Faith Christian 48-42 in Mason-Dixon Christian Conference action.

Calvary (6-8, 3-4 MDCC) reeled off its second straight win behind senior Matt Dillow’s 24 points.

“We lost an 11-point lead in the third quarter and they cut it to one. I believe we are really maturing as a team because we built the lead back up,” said Calvary head coach Matt Dillow.

Entering the fourth quarter CCA’s one-point lead was aided by eight fourth-quarter free-throws by Dillow to help secure the win.

“It was a big win for us on the road in the conference,” said coach Dillow. “We played tremendous defense and had a great team effort.”

Caleb Snyder and Zach Mason each added nine points for the Eagles.

Faith (11-4, 5-3 MDCC) got 20 points from Isaiah Walls while Sam Romine scored 17.

Calvary will play Thursday at Fulton County Christian at 7:30 p.m.
