FROSTBURG — Anna Hackett scored 22 points, Sarah Seipp had 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Salisbury spurted ahead for good by scoring 17 of the final 21 points of the first half for a 75-52 win over Frostburg State Saturday in college women’s basketball.
Salisbury (17-8, 12-4 Capital Athletic Conference) led by on two late in the half before the Sea Gulls soared into control with the 17-4 run for a 46-29 halftime cushion.
The Bobcats (8-17, 3-13) weren’t able to make any ground in the second half.
Ronje James led Frostburg with 15 points, Simone Wise had 12 points and Deara Parker eight points and five rebounds for the Bobcats, who were outrebounded 52-30.
