MCHENRY — Garrett’s men improved to 5-2 on Monday night with earning a victory over Butler.

Garrett was rebounding the ball at an excellent pace with 43 boards as a team, and with Frank Holloway leading the way with nine rebounds himself. Adding to the nine rebounds, Holloway was the leading scorer for the Lakers with 20 points.

Garrett was passing the ball as well leading to those 85 points scored with 18 assists.

“Butler plays hard but just doesn’t have the talent we have,” Coach Dennis Gibson said. “We played everyone early and bench played well and was a good way to end the break.”

Garrett looks forward to build on the success from Monday night and carry it on the road when they play at Hagerstown on Dec. 4.
