OAKLAND — Garrett had six players score in double figures, including 22 from Antonio Butler, in a 99-70 drubbing of Anne Arundel at home Saturday.

Anne Arundel was 10-1 coming in. But, Garrett was the superior team from the onset. Crisp passing and assertiveness on the boards gave the Lakers a comfortable 51-25 halftime lead.

Garrett out-rebounded Anne Arundel, 46-31. The Pioneers put up more of a fight in the second half, though they were still outscored 48-45.

The Lakers had 25 assists, led by Din Moore’s seven along with 14 points. Guila Panzo had nine points and 11 rebounds. Steve Brown scored 14, D.J. Ritchie 12 and Kurt Gangler added 10.
