FROSTBURG — DeSean Antoine led a balanced scoring attack with 18 points, with 11 coming in the second half, as Frostburg State defeated Marymount 66-61 in Capital Athletic Conference men’s basketball Wednesday night.
Christian Jackson added 17 points and eight rebounds and Kwambina Coker had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Bobcats (9-15, 3-8), who overcame a sluggish first half to rally from a 29-23 halftime deficit.
Scott Reed had 24 points and 12 rebounds for Marymount (7-18, 2-10).
Reed’s tip-in got Marymount to within 60-59 with 1:40 left but Coker answered with an offensive rebound, scored while being fouled and completed the three-point play for a 63-59 lead with 40 seconds to go.
Antoine hit two big three-pointers earlier in the half to keep the Saints at bay. The first came to end a Marymount 8-0 spurt, and the second broke a tie game and gave FSU a 58-55 lead with 3:34 left.
The Bobcats end their regular season Saturday at York.
