WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Leah Hershberger scored 20 points and all 13 Potomac State players scored for the second time in as many days as the Catamounts clawed CCAC-South, 80-31, in junior college women’s basketball Friday evening.
The win raises coach Jim Walton’s team to 17-4 overall and keeps them unbeaten in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference at 6-0.
Hershberger made eight field goals, two being three-pointers, and two foul shots for her game-high total. Kirsten Rayner added 10 points and Keke Dudley and Courtney Davis had eight.
Lindsie Linaburg had six points and a team-leading eight rebounds. Hannah Horne had a team-high five assists.
Potomac State scored the first 21 points and led 35-11 at halftime. It was the second straight game the Catamounts scored 80 points. They’ve put up 80 or more in 10 of their 21 games this year.
Potomac State plays at CCAC Allegheny on Monday at 5 p.m.
