PITTSBURGH — Potomac State used an 8-0 run late in the second half to jump ahead of CCAC-Allegheny and finish the season in the Western Pennsylvania College Conference with a 69-64 win Saturday in junior college men’s basketball.
Reggie Baker scored a game-high 22 points and George Chase added 14 points to lead the Catamounts. Carlton Drake and Jaren Farrell both scored eight points.
Allegheny was led by Matt McKenna with 18 points and Marcus Smith and Tyron Underwood with 13.
The Catamounts trailed for most of the first half and late in the second before surging ahead for good with the 8-0 spurt.
Potomac State, which finished 9-2 in the WPCC and is 14-7 overall, plays tonight at Garrett.
