KEYSER, W.Va. — Potomac State scored almost as many points during the first half that Penn State Dubois scored all night during a 94-49 win for the Catamounts that improves them to 3-1.
Kiki Dudley had 16 points and eight steals to help the Cats race out to a 48-27 lead at halftime, and they didn’t let up in the second half, outscoring the Nittany Lions 46-22 in the second half.
Allegany graduate Lindsie Linaburg added seven points and seven rebounds, and Antwanye Parks also had seven steals with six points. Jenna McAtee used three three-pointers to reach 12 points and Northern grad Kirsten Raynor finished with 10 points. Courtney Davis gave the Cats another 11 points.
“We took much better care of the ball and only had nine turnovers,” said PSC coach Jim Walton. “That’s something we’ve been working hard at, and it led to a lot of good looks and opportunities to score.”
The Lions got a team-high 12 points from Patricia McCullough.
Potomac State plays again today at 4 p.m. when it hosts Patrick Henry.
