How to send us a birth announcement

Congratulations!

If the baby was born at Memorial Hospital in Cumberland, we need the yellow, half-sheet of paper that the hospital provides. It can be scanned and e-mailed to ctn@times-news.com, faxed to 301-722-5270, dropped off or mailed to 19 Baltimore St. Cumberland, MD 21502 - whatever's easiest.

If the baby was born at another hospital, we do not need the yellow sheet of paper.

Please include the following information:

Parents names, town, where the baby was born, if son or daughter, baby's name if you want as well as grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. names and hometowns.

The announcement is free.
