Jeffrey Alderton
Cumberland Times-News

KEYSER, W.Va. — At least six people were taken into custody Tuesday morning following their arrest by the Potomac Highlands Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.

The arrests were made after federal, state, county and municipal police forces gathered at the Fort Ashby volunteer fire company before 8 a.m.

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office said four Keyser residents, a Piedmont man and a Ridgeley man were in custody of federal agents earlier Tuesday afternoon, prior to their initial appearance before a U.S, District Court judge.
