CUMBERLAND - Two employees of TriState Hand & Occupational Therapy recently completed continuing education programs in their field.
Kim Pague, a li-censed certified occupational the-rapy assistant, successfully completed a workshop on "Handwriting Without Tears¨ for Pre-K - 5th Grade."
The course instructed Pague in methods to help young children with fine motor skill difficulties learn to write more legibly.
Jami Gindlesperger, OTR/L, successfully completed a seminar utilizing the Maitland-Australian approach titled "MT-1: Basic Peri-pheral Seminar." This course provided Gin-dlesperger with advanced training in joint mobilization of the upper extremities, including the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
