GAP Trek new lodge program

FROSTBURG - Savage River Lodge announces its latest adventure, the GAP Trek, a combination of biking, luxury accommodation and gourmet dining.

The biking takes place on the Great Allegheny Passage, a 150-mile system of biking and hiking trails connecting Cumberland and Pittsburgh. A connection to the C&O Canal towpath in Cumberland provides a continuous nonmotorized corridor 316 miles long from Pittsburgh to Washington.

The lodge offers pickup and delivery to various locations along the trail and bike rentals are available for overnight guests. Packed lunches and other food are included in the package price.
