NORMAN, Okla. - Source 1, the aftermarket arm of the Johnson Controls residential heating, ventilation and air-conditioning brands, recently named Aircon Engineering Inc., Cumberland, as recipient of its 2007 Source 1 Distributor of the Year award for the Northeast Region.
Winning distributors earned their awards by compiling points based on their performance in 16 different categories. Each category looks at distributors' use of advertising and promotional materials or their participation in a variety of marketing and training programs.
The five independent distributors and the York branch of Johnson Controls will receive the first-ever Golden SPARKY award statues during banquets to be held in their respective cities. Aircon Engineering received its award on July 10.
Established in 1998, the Source 1 Distributor of the Year awards spotlight independent distributors and factory branches that have excelled in selling HVAC&R aftermarket parts while promoting the Source 1 brand.
