FREDERICK — The Plamondon Companies recently hosted an essential management practices skills training session at its training facility in Frederick. The training was attended by 10 of the newer members of management on the Roy Rogers team.
The associates participated in a comprehensive series of classes and programs designed to improve and expand their skills as members of the management team.
The weeklong program featured a variety of relevant topics, including team building, interaction skills, crisis management and government regulations and policies. The specialized training is offered twice yearly to new managers in the Roy Rogers system.
Frederick-based Plamondon Companies is the franchisor for Roy Rogers Restaurants and operates 17 corporate restaurants, including one on Queen City Drive in Cumberland. An additional restaurant is scheduled to open in Germantown late this year. There are 35 other Roy Rogers franchise locations in the mid-Atlantic region. The company also owns a Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott in Frederick and a SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Hagerstown.
