Charles Hanekamp, center, a member of Boy Scout Troop 89, is an employee of the bank. M&T has donated $5,000 to Potomac Council to send economically disadvanged youth to summer camp at Camp Potomac in Oldtown and to support the Good Turn For America, Scouting for Food initiative. Held each November, Scouting for Food fills the shelves at food banks in Allegany and Garrett counties. The bank’s donation helps defray the cost of advertisement and distribution of door hangers.
