MOOREFIELD, W.Va. – To succeed with a start-up small business, many experts say, you need a sound idea that satisfies an identifiable need. “You also need a solid grounding in the nuts and bolts of licensing, organizing and financing your idea,” said Beth Ludewig, manager of the Potomac Highlands Small Business Development Center.
To that end, Ludewig will offer a “Licensing and Organizing your New Business” workshop on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College’s Moorefield center. The workshop will provide simple, straight-forward, real-world guidance and up-to-date information about legal organization, insurance, financing options and other topics for start-up small businesses.
Space is limited. To register and for more information call Lacey Ball, program assistant, at (304) 434-8000, or toll free: (877) 982-2322.
“If you’re looking for the independence, flexibility and excitement that comes with turning your great idea into a profitable service or product,” Ludewig said, “we can show you how to channel your enthusiasm and hard work into nuts-and-bolts business strategies for success.”
