Potomac State sweeps Cecil

Jacke Healey and Kyle Orensky hit two-run home runs for Potomac State in a sweep of Cecil.
Healey’s and Orensky’s homers came in Potomac State’s second-game win.
Orensky went 3-for-4 in the second contest and got a third RBI to go along with his home run and two singles. Healey added a double to his long ball, and Chris Szafran had a double and single in four at bats.
The Seahawks took a 1-0 lead on a first inning home run from Franklin Lee. He would finish with two RBIs and added a single.
Potomac State (30-8) fell behind 7-4 after Cecil scored six runs in the fourth, but the Cats scored two runs in the fifth, two more in the sixth and once in the seventh to regain the lead.
The Catamounts added four insurance runs in the top of the seventh inning during the first game to turn a 3-2 contest into a more manageable 7-2 lead.
Healey tripled and singled and Mike Smith doubled home two runs in the seventh.
Matt Fryer had six strikeouts and one walk while earning the win.
Lee hit a solo home run in the fourth inning, and Jesse Crockett singled twice for the Seahawks.
Potomac State will be attempting to set the single-game attendance record at Golden Park today when the Catamounts host Harford for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
PSC will be holding the fourth annual Gold Rush during which every fan will have the opportunity to win a 27-inch color television donated by Hayward Wilson of State Farm Insurance. Tickets are free and can be obtaine near the first-base dugout starting at 11 a.m. Additional prizes will be given away between innings of the first game. The winning ticket for the television will be drawn immediately after the first game.
The first 100 fans in attendance will receive a free commemorative Gold Rush 4 T-shirt.
