Lee Bainbridge homered three times over two games to help Allegany College of Maryland split a afternoon doubleheader with Germantown.
Germantown scored in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out a 6-5 win in the opener, before the Trojans made sure it didn’t reach the seventh by winning 15-3 in the second.
In the second game Bainbridge hit a second-inning home run, added a two-run shot in the fifth and hit an RBI double to finish with four runs batted in. Cody Young, Drew Suttmiller and Adam Delauter had two hits. Jerry Lloyd also homered and hit a double to finish with two RBIs.
Erik Kempton collected his fifth win by allowing just two singles over five innings.
Bainbridge got the Trojans in front in the first contest by hitting a two-run home run. Chad McCoy had two singles
Mike Bokman hit two singles and had one RBI for Germantown. Germantown took its first lead by scoring four runs in the bottom of the fifth.
ACM tied the score with two runs in the sixth, but allowed a run in the bottom of the seventh that ended the game.
Allegany (25-16, 13-7 JUCO) hosts Hagerstown in a 2 p.m. doubleheader on Tuesday.
