Penn State Behrend splits with Frostburg State, 5-1 and 0-4

FROSTBURG - Sophomore Katelyn Coffey tossed a one-hit shutout to help Frostburg State to a split ofa doubleheader with Penn State Behrend on Senior Day Sunday.
Coffey won a pitchers' duel in the second game for her 12th victory of the season. She struck out five.
Samantha Quinn had an RBI single, Kathryn Claeys an RBI double and Lindsay Seal a two-run double for Frostburg (16-20, 9-10).
In the first game, Julie Koman allowed just three hits in five innings for the win for the Lions (27-11, 13-5).
FSU scored its lone run in the sixth on an RBI single by Kaitlyn Wagner.
The Bobcats play at Villa Julie on Wednesday at 3 p.m., and, as the No. 4 seed, play at No. 5 Pitt-Bradford in the opening round of the AMCC tournament on Friday.
