Scott Hixenbaugh bowled the week’s high set of 812 and a near-perfect game of 298 at Wilson Lanes. Chris Bean, also at Wilson Lanes, scored a 299 game in his 696 set. Chad Gable scored 804/279 at White Oak Lanes. Wow — a big number of strikes tied to those three names, I would guess close to 85.
Following Hixenbaugh’s high, Bob Greene was next high at Wilson Lanes rolling 705/243.
Chad Gable’s 804/279 was White Oak’s high followed by Ron Roach bowling 756/276 in the Friday Night Mixed League.
Bryan Jose scored 769/268 for the Rainbow high. Chris Riggleman was next rolling 697/277 and Adam Braithwaite scored 694/278.
Corey Shirey and Cary Lowery were the high rollers at The Bowler. Shirey bowled 739/254 And Lowery scored 699/268.
Leonard Howsare bowled 684/235 for the Sherwood weekly high. Larry Housel Sr. was next rolling 648/236.
In the PBA Experience League at White Oaks, Bobby Lannon held first place for the week rolling 619/258. Mike Brobst was close behind scoring 615/212 followed by Adam Blackburn bowling 603/211.
Crystal Uhl was the area’s top lady bowler for the week rolling 647/237 at The Bowler. Dawn House was next rolling 625/256.
Autumn Gable was highest of the White Oak ladies scoring 580/225. Vivian Helsley was next rolling 552/237.
Pat Gwizdale bowled 570/192 at Wilson Lanes.
Wendy Atkinson rolled 554/210 for the ladies at Sherwood and Alice Monahan scored 547/195.
Katie Pownell and Dee Self were the top ladies at Rainbow. Pownell bowled 551/188 and Self rolled 547/196.
Senior John Barbe scored 648/227 at The Bowler and Dave Clem rolled 575/202. Beverly Narbut bowled 474/191. At White Oaks, Jim Edmands scored 580/215. Don Shaw rolled 549/210 and Shirley Plummer bowled 465/173.
Kasey Sullivan was the area’s top youth bowler for the week bowling 606/247 at White Oaks. Dylan Bean scored 574/212 and Mariah Snyder rolled 557/222. Frank Llewellyn bowled 583/212 at Wilson Lanes and Katherine Corbin rolled 411/148. Randy Cubbage was the top youth at The Bowler. Kayleigh Fleek scored 485/179. Rainbow’s Kris Tusing rolled 510/187 and Kim Northcraft bowled 465/189.
I hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving. We have much to be thankful for and our prayers must go to the many still suffering from the wrath of hurricane Sandy.
