I had the chance to watch a few matches of PBA bowlers on TV recently. Chris Barnes defeated Mika Koivuniemi 244 to 228 and Liz Johnson against Kelly Kulick and Johnson against Missy Parkin in the finals. You can read the accounts on bowl.com/news. The interesting point was that after a great performance against Kulick, Liz Johnson saw her strike shot evaporate due to changing lane conditions. She left two splits, a 4-6-7 in the second frame and a 4-6 in the fourth. The mental problem is that we all hate to change very much when the previous game was going so well. Liz defeated Kulick 267 to 260 in the semifinal but lost to Parkin 190 to 238 in the final.
Good luck bowling and have fun striking out!
