Ted T. Femi Field

The LaVale Lions field on Braddock Road was recently named the Ted T. Femi Field for the late Ted Femi, who formed the LaVale Little League in 1953. Standing with a plaque naming the field are, representing the Femi family, from left, grandson Philip Thomas and sons Brian and Ted Femi. Representing the LaVale Athletic Association are vice president Brian McCloskey, second from right, and treasurer Rick Hoover.
