HINKLEY, Ohio — William R. “Junior” Raley Jr., of Hinkley, formerly of Cresaptown, and Rawlings, Md., died April 12, 2008 at Medina General Hospital, Medina, Ohio.

A graveside memorial and interment service will be held at the Raley family plot at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Baltimore Pike (Route 144), Cumberland, on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 6 p.m.



ROSE M. CARTWRIGHT

CUMBERLAND — Rose M. Cartwright, 50, of Cumberland, formerly of Alaska, died Friday at home.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m.

Memorial services will follow on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

FRIENDSVILLE — Arnold Leroy Bowser, 74, of Friendsville, died Friday at home.

At his request his body was cremated. Private family services were held.

Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, is in charge of arrangements.

BEL AIR — Dr. John Paul Burton, 75, of Bel Air, formerly of Towson, died Saturday.

Friends will be received at the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Rd. (at York Rd.), Timonium, MD 21093, on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m.

A remembrance of Dr. John Burton’s life will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

GRANTSVILLE — Sterl Edgar Bittinger, 79, of Grantsville, died Saturday at home.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

CUMBERLAND — William Edward “Hillbilly Bill” Miller, 56, of Cumberland, died Saturday at home.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
