FLINTSTONE - Clarence Edward "Bucky" Shaw, 78, of Flintstone, died Saturday, June 21, 2008.

The Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, is in charge of the arrangements.

THREE CHURCHES, W.Va. - Edward "Dave" Ullery, 54, of Three Churches, W.Va., died Saturday, June 21, 2008.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, W.Va.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Points, W.Va.



WILLIAM W. WHORTON

FLINTSTONE - William Watson Whorton, 78, of Flintstone, died Sunday, June 22, 2008.

Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery.



ROBERT K. HARTSOCK

CLEARVILLE, Pa. - Robert Kenneth Hartsock, 93, of Clearville, Pa., died Saturday, June 21, 2008.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 1302 National Hwy., LaVale.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.



RAYMA W. WADE

CARY, N.C. - Rayma Wright Wade, 70, of Cary, N.C., formerly of Keyser, W.Va., died Sunday, June 22, 2008.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. (Hwy. 55), Apex N.C. There will be a memorial service held at 8 p.m. in the Chapel.



MELVIN S. SLOAN

LONACONING - Melvin Samuel Sloan, 91, of Lonaconing, died Saturday, June 21, 2008.

Friends and family will be received at the Eichorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.

A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, Lonaconing, Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Mr. Sloan was cremated according to his wishes, and inurnment will be private.
