VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Mary Martha Kilmurray, 90, formerly of Cumberland, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2008.

A private service will take place at a later date.



MARY J. WATKINS

MORANTOWN — Mary J. “Dolly” Watkins, 91, of Morantown, died Friday Oct. 3, 2008.

Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home P.A. 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park.



CRYSTAL L. KENNEDY

STAUNTON, Va. — Crystal Lynn (Wood) Kennedy, 28, of Staunton, Va., formerly of Franklin, W.Va., died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008.

Friends will be received at the Basagic Funeral Home, Franklin, W.Va., on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m.

Interment will be in the Samuel B. Propst Cemetery, Franklin, W.Va.

CUMBERLAND — Tiberia K. “Betty” Rose, 96, of Cumberland, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

CUMBERLAND — John Arthur Brobst, 87, of Cumberland, died on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

MOOREFIELD, W.Va. — Timothy Allen Whetzel, 40, of Moorefield, W.Va., died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Olivet Cemetery.



QUENTIN NORDECK SHAFFER

OAKLAND — Q. Nordeck Shaffer, 89, of Oakland, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008.

At his request, his body will be cremated.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Oakland.
