FROSTBURG — Mary Virginia Weitzell, 84, of Frostburg, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.

Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday in St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 9 a.m.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.

FROSTBURG — Mary Catherine (Hitchins) Gomer, 62, of Frostburg, on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.

Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in the Vale Summit Cemetery.

AUGUSTA, W.Va. — Clara Belle Lee, 92, of Augusta, W.Va., died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.

The family will receive friends at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, W.Va.

Interment will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery, Augusta, W.Va.

CUMBERLAND — Delores J. Lease, 76, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009.

CUMBERLAND — Timothy “Tim” Tyler Wilt, 23, of Cumberland, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

KEYSER, W.Va. — Jerwin E. “Jerry” Hines, 65, of Keyser, W.Va., died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 4 p.m. immediately following the visitation.

Private interment will be in the Cabin Run Cemetery, Keyser, W.Va.



LUCY V. FRIEND

MOUNTAIN LAKE PARK — Lucy Vertis Friend, 93, of Mountain Lake Park, died Tuesday Oct. 20, 2009.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Mountain Lake Independent Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in Garrett Memorial Gardens.



GREGORY A. TRENUM

AUGUSTA, W.Va. — Gregory Andrew Trenum, 79, of Augusta, W.Va., formerly of Franklin, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009.

His body was cremated.

There will be no visitation or services.

Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, was in charge of arrangements.
