SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. — Charlotte Griffith, of San Juan Capistrano, died Wed-nesday, Oct. 14, 2009.

There will be a celebration of her life on Friday at 2 p.m. in Cornerstone Baptist Church, 930 Frederick St., Cumberland.

FROSTBURG — Doris Elizabeth Ritchie, 82, of Frostburg, died on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009.

There will be no funeral at this time as Doris donated her body to science for study.



GARY G. PRESGRAVE

LEVELS, W.Va. — Gary Gilbert Presgrave, 55, of Leesburg, Va., died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Slanesville Ruritan Building.

Arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta.

CUMBERLAND — Rose Mary Shaffer, 96, of Cumberland, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 7 p.m..

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Monday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.

CUMBERLAND — Kaye O’Neal, 66, of Cumberland, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — George William Woerner, 84, of Tallahassee, died Thursday, Oct, 29, 2009. 

A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Beggs Funeral Home, Apalachee Parkway Chapel, Tallahassee.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Epiphany Lutheran Church, Tallahassee, on Thursday at 11 a.m.

FORT ASHBY, W.Va. — F. JoAnn Hanson, of Fort Ashby, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009.

The family will receive friends at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Route 28, Fort Ashby on Saturday from 1 to 2:15 p.m.

A memorial service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday in the Southside Church of Christ in Winchester, Va. at 1 p.m.

RIG, W.Va. — Evelyn “Eva” Mary Crites Snyder, 79, of Rig, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.

Friends may call at the Rig Assembly of God Church on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Rig Assembly of God Church.

Interment will follow at the Fultz Cemetery, Kessel.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fraley Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Newman Funeral Home, 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury.

There will be a private interment in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
