PETERSBURG, W.Va. — Emory Wayne Whetzel Sr., 79, of Arthur, W.Va., died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1 p.m. in the Schaeffer Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Olivet Cemetery, Moorefield, W.Va.

WILEY FORD, W.Va. — John Richard Thompson, 56, of Wiley Ford, W.Va., died on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 p.m.

Interment will be in Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.

POTOMAC PARK — Tina Smith, 48, of Potomac Park, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009.

Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, is in charge of the arrangements, which are incomplete at this time.

CUMBERLAND — Rose A. Hay, 90, of Cumberland, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
